BREATH TRAINING 

​

 

Sal combines her skills from her training as an Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor, Myofunctional Therapist and Apnea Survival Instructor to create her own unique style. You will start your breath training journey by having your breathing assessed to make sure the exercises prescribed to you are appropriate for your needs.  

 

As breathing is something our bodies automatically do with out much thought, the training techniques you'll learn will build your awareness of your breath. This is important as it's hard to make changes to something if you are not aware of what is already happening. You will then move on to implement positive change by using different breathing techniques. The outcome offers you more choices of how to influence the breath, mind and body which can be used in all sorts of areas of your life.

PRIVATE SESSIONS

Private sessions can be attended online or in-person. The training start with a 75 min initial consultation to assess breathing patterns, myofunction of the lips, tongue and cheeks plus general health history. After this training session are 60 mins.

 

It is suggested you book the 6 session package to enable your body and mind to adapt to the new breathing habits.

 

Through out the sessions you will create an understanding of how your breathing effects how you function, think and feel. You will be given a copy of the exercises to do in your own time.

GROUP BREATH CLASS

Breath Classes are available in person or online. You can attend as a casual or sign up for monthly subscriptions. Use the code 1STCLASSFREE to give the class a try.

Monday 5.30pm - 6.30pm. This class is all about the function of how you breathe which works to enhance your breathing throughout the day, sleep and during exercise.

 

During the class you will experience exercises to increase your CO2 tolerance and build control. This allows for more O2 to be absorb by the body, influencing your energy and stress management threshold. 

 

The class is like doing  a gentle workout for your breathing muscles, as these are just as important as all the other muscles in your body.

You will learn the skills to deal with these situations, by developing techniques for managing stress, developing self awareness, self control and good decision making through controlling your breath while in and under the water.

 

These skills can be applied not only in the water, but across all facets of life, benefiting health and wellness.
