2025 MALDIVES BOAT TRIP!

After an overwhelming response to the 2024 trip, I have managed to secure dates for 2025.

The trip is for men and women who are lower to higher intermediate surfers who can paddle into their own waves and surf in both directions.

As with any trip, surf conditions are down to mother nature. As we are on a boat it will give us a lot more freedom to go and find the waves.

We will be going to the Northern Atolls which hosts the surf breaks, tombstones, jalis, honkies, sultan, ninjas, cokes, chickens ( 5 rights, 2 lefts).

The aim will be to organise 2 separate surf groups paddling out each morning where you will be filmed by Hannah. The footage will be analysed later in the day for you to gain feedback about what to work on on for your next surf session. Sal will be in the water with you to make sure you are comfortable.

You are welcome to bring boards of any size, but you may want to check with your airline about the costs of bringing larger boards.

ACTIVITIES

There will be a daily breathing and stretch session run by Sal to make sure your body is in its prime to catch as many waves as possible. This session will also include information on how to manage your breathing and breath holds while surfing. There are also some additional health and wellness sessions currently in the pipe work to look forward to.

The afternoons are open for you to surf, surf, surf.

If you prefer, you are also welcome to relax on the boat or take one of the smaller boats over to one of the Islands. There are two main islands you can visit during the day at no cost. They have a sunbathing beach, free sunbeds, small restaurants, masseuse and you are able to swim, snorkel, scuba dive or rent a jet ski.

Here are some links about the islands

The other Island is a Club Med Resort, where you can purchase a day pass (booked a day in advance), which gives you entry to the swimming pool, food and alcohol consumption.

The big boat has 2 smaller boats to transport you to the surf spots and any other activities. One is a medium sized boat (covered) and a small boat (open air).

PLEASE NOTE** Any paid activities on the islands will be at your own cost and are not included in this price.

THE BOAT
While staying on the boat you will be in a shared twin cabin which has an ensuite toilet and shower. All cabins are air-conditioned and so is the living /dining area which is amazing. You will be served 3 meals a day, plus fruits, snacks, coffee, tea and mineral water. You can purchase alcohol and soft drinks at an additional cost.

The photos shown on this page are a depiction on the standard of boat we will be offered. As this trip is in 2025, the final decision of which boat we will be using has not been made. Details will be added as soon as the information is received.
